About Me
Elisa Schreiber is an international performer and teacher. While attending Duke University, Elisa studied under the direction of Clay Taliaferro. Since graduating, Elisa has performed solo works by Jose Limón, Doris Humphrey, Anna Sokolow, and Kathryn Alter,.
Elisa was a guest artist with the Limon Dance Company from 2011-2015, and has worked with Dance Heginbotham, Dance by Alan Danielson, Kathryn Alter and Dancers, MeenMoves, Shadowbox Theater, The Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble, and 277 Dance Project. Currently, Elisa works with the Swiss-based Compagnie Anne-Sophie Fenner, Sue Bernhard Danceworks, and creates her own work.
Elisa teaches contemporary and Limon to students of all ages and abilities, and has taught at SUNY- Purchase Conservatory of Dance, Duke University, Peridance /Capezio Center, Gibney Dance, Rioult Dance Center, Dance Heginbotham, New York Theater Ballet School, and Spoke the Hub, Currently, Elisa is faculty with Marymount Manhattan College and the Limón Institute, including Limón4Kids.
